Sesamin

Sesamin is a compound isolated from sesame oil. The beauty of sesamin is its butterfly-like shape. Even though the name sesame oil represents this compound, sesamin is a minor component of sesame oil. Despite its popularity as a "health-promoting" supplement, there is insufficient data to support any beneficial efficacy on humans.
